The VA has opened up volunteer processing, and we are always in need of dedicated drivers! If you or someone you know has extra time to give, consider making a difference in a Veteran’s life by providing essential transportation. This is a meaningful way to give back and support those who have served our country. Share this opportunity with friends or family members who might be interested in lending a helping hand!
The Veterans Assistance Commission of Winnebago County (VACWC) is proud to announce a partnership with Seabreeze Non-Emergency Medical Transport to help meet the transportation needs of our local veterans. Through this collaboration, veterans can now access transportation to and from medical appointments more easily and reliably.
Veterans who need transportation should contact Seabreeze directly at 815-708-7807 to schedule a ride. Please note that valid medical insurance is required, including but not limited to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Meridian, Molina, Humana, and WellCare.
This partnership underscores our continued commitment to ensuring that veterans have access to the care and services they deserve.
